Barbera d'Alba
denominazione di origine controllata
How it was born
The grapes are harvested by hand in small containers and then pressed softly and with the stems removed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Finally, the refinement of the wine proceeds in 25 hl oak barrels for about a year.
How to drink it
It is the ideal wine for structured and even slightly rustic dishes: starting from starters, it loves meat-based dishes, particularly pork; then the first courses of stuffed pasta with strong flavored sauces; finally, stewed or braised red meats and well-matured cheeses.
